Think flower hunts, creative workshops, cake decorating and a family friendly movie on the big screen.

Adults will enjoy a continental breakfast and our great local coffee while they're at it.

£20pp (under 3s go free - note that kiddies without tickets will not be allocated their own cinema seat and will need to sit on ticket holders lap)

The St. Albans Sixer - Pub Crawl


Welcome to the 5th St. Albans Sixer. A running/walking event with a difference. This event will feature two different distances

The Sixer - 6 miles, 6 pubs
The Double Sixer - 12 miles, 7 pubs.

To complete this event you need to run (or walk / crawl) the 6 or 12 mile course around the streets of St. Albans, stopping in the 6 or 7 allocated pubs along the route. Each runner will be given a drink of their choice at each pub (beer / wine / soft drink)

Ticket price includes all 6 / 7 drinks, your own commemorative glass with at least £5 going to charity.

This event is limited to only 160 people.

You can run as an individual, team of 3 or a team of six.

Awards / prizes will be given out to the quickest male, female and team

Georgian Costume Ball


Bring your Pride and Prejudice or Bridgerton fantasies to life with this historic costume ball, taking place in our Georgian assembly room.

Join for an evening of live music, dancing (all instructions provided by our historical dance caller), and canapes, whilst drinking in the grandeur of the space and imagining yourself as part of Georgian high society.

Tickets include a welcome drink. A pay-bar will be available.

Dressing up is integral to the experience and therefore we encourage you to let your imaginations run wild when choosing 18th century outfits. However, at a minimum please wear formal attire, including floor length gowns for ladies.

Music in Lydekker is a free event, booking is not required, but attendees are encouraged to arrive on foot where possible as parking at Lydekker Car Park is limited.

As a guest of King Henry VIII, when the Master of the Revels announces, you will feast on a carefully curated three course Tudor-themed meal in the majestic Old Palace, the childhood home to Queen Elizabeth I, and experience a banqueting event from the 1500’s at its finest.

Presented by Black Knight Historical, an Historical Services provider, supplying costumed characters, entertainment, musicians and craftspeople for events of all kinds across the UK. Murder At The Mill


This escape room whodunnit will take you around the beautiful grounds of Hatfield’s 18th Century working watermill as you race against the clock to solve the crime. Choose your own route around the mill, tackling the challenges in whatever order you wish. Each puzzle you solve will give you another clue to the mystery: once you’ve gathered them all, it’s time to put your deduction skills to the test!

Who committed the murder? Where did they do the deed? Which weapon did they use? These are the questions you and your team will need to answer. You’ll have exactly one hour to unravel the mystery and close the case.

£25 per person, under 8s go free! Please check the website for times as these vary from day to day!
