When: Saturday 7th – Monday 30th December, various times.

This Christmas, you’re invited to the pantomime of your dreams – SLEEPING BEAUTY, at the Eric Morecambe Centre, Harpenden.

Once upon a time in a Pantoland far, far away, Princess Aurora is cursed by the evil Carabosse to perish on her 18th birthday by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel. Thanks to Fairy Nuff, the Princess falls into a deep sleep that can only be broken by her one true love. Will the handsome Prince Valiant come to her rescue, fight the dragon, destroy Carabosse, and save the day? Will the hilarious Nanny Nora finally find the man of her dreams and will Chester the Jester find his own super powers to protect the Princess? There’s only one way to find out!

SLEEPING BEAUTY features Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK favourite Vicki Vivacious as Carabosse, the return of Harpenden’s much loved Dame Josh Handley as Nanny Nora, and the hilarious Oscar Carson as Chester The Jester, alongside Sam Makepeace-Beach as Prince Valiant, Charlie Morris as Fairy Nuff and Jasmine Martinez as Princess Aurora.

With great songs, dazzling dance routines, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and spectacular special effects this dream of a pantomime will be an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike.

So don’t get caught napping – book your tickets now for this magical adventure where dreams really do come true.

Relaxed Performance Thurs 12th December at 6pm will contain all the usual fun but with the volume turned down, the houselights left up and no sudden noises or bangs. You can come and go as you please into our breakout area in the foyer and enjoy the show how you want to. It’s perfect for anyone who may need a more relaxed environment so that nothing feels overwhelming or unpleasant.

BSL Performance Thurs 19th December 6pm incorporates a qualified BSL Interpreter to ensure our Deaf or Hard of Hearing patrons can fully enjoy the pantomime.
